Information was shared on that non-citizens facebook page which was false and inaccurate about crime stats in Irmo. Even though we know Irmo is a safe place to live, a great place to live, in fact the #3 place to live in SC, and in the top 10% of safest cities in SC for the past three years. I wanted to share the actual and factual stats directly from the 2018 FBI link. I narrowed down the list of all municipalities around us and also the municipalities from around the state that have a similar population so you can compare facts not fiction and lies and negative political agendas from people who just want to be negative about how great it is to live in Irmo.
