Yes, according to ChamberOfCommerce.org we are #10 Best Place to Live in SC, and #3 according to Niche.com website. Some will say they are moving because of decisions Council has made, i.e. addressing the parking all over the yard, killing the grass, running down the neighborhood, not cutting grass, addressing dilapidated and deteriorating homes.

Councilmen Pouliot and Waites and myself have worked and are continuing to work to Build a Better Irmo. Working together to address those issues and passed ordinances to change things that had gotten out of hand, driving good people out, and keeping good people from wanting to move into Irmo.

Our neighborhoods are now looking better, people have been commenting things are looking better. And they will continue to improve for another year or two, as long as we don't elect people who want to overturn all that we have done, Barry, Eric, Dan, and anybody any of Barry's “minions” (as they like to call anybody that supports me) supports. So if you want our neighborhoods to go back down, then don't vote for Hardy, Mark, or Julius.

Want to keep making Irmo better, then vote for Hardy King, Mark Pouliot and Julius Waites.

And help us to keep standing for you, Irmo, and our neighborhoods.

I am proud to live in Irmo, proud to say I live here, and anybody that wants to trash Irmo in order to get his name on the news shouldn't be mayor or serving on Council at all. (2021)
